India has beaten the mighty Aussies in the semi finals.It was an absolute cracker of a match as both the teams went hard at each other Australia, but it was young indian team who were able to hold their nerves in the tense situation and now we have mouth watering prospect on our hands, final between the two arch rivals India and pakistan, a dream come true for the every cricket lover

Australia were given a tough total of 189 to chase and they didn't start of with a bang, Hayden, in his attempt to overattack he had many misses against the bowling of Sreesanth who didn't back down from staring at him more than once, Gilchrist did hit few big ones of the bowling of Rp singh, but was bold briliantly by Sreesanth.Australian innings really picked up the pace when dibly dobbly bowler Joginder was smashed for 18 runs in his first over, even Irfan went for few runs but he was able to get rid of dangerous brad hodge, and that brought Andrew symonds to the crease.He alongwith Hayden were taking the game away from India as they were hitting boundaries at will,Sehwag and pathan were at the receiving end of the carnage.Although Harbhajan did manage to restrict them to some extent, and at that stage it looked as if we were out of it.But MSD and his boys had other ideas, then came the magic bowl from Sreesanth that got rid of Hayden and next over Symonds was gone, last three overs Australia required 30 runs to win, Bhajji and RP bold the 18 and 19 over exceptionaly well as they only gave away 8 runs in those two overs, everyone was surprised.It was always going to be tough scoring 22 runs in the last over and it proved to be too much as they fell short by 15 runs

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat.It was a slow start as their plan was not to lose any wickets in the first four or five overs.Australia was clinical as ever, as they never gave any easy bowls to hit and they were bang on target.Sehwag and Gambir fell trying to up the tempo when yuvraj singh came in to bat our run rate was meagre 5.5 or something than everything changed.Second bowl faced by yuvraj and bang out of the park for six, it was the first of many that he hit, one of them was longest 119m.It was total mayhem while yuvi was batting, even Robin uthapa started smashing the Aussie bowlers but was run out briliantly by Andrew symonds.When Dhoni came into bat the stage was set for him to go bang bang, and he didn't disappointed and India was able to set a decent total of 188 for the Aussies

Yuvraj singh was declared man of the match for his 70 of only 30 bowls
